Dr. Greg Guerra is a native of New Orleans. He attended both Louisiana State University and the University of New Orleans, where he received degrees in both Chemistry and Biology. He then attended LSU School of Dentistry, where he graduated in 2001.
Dr. Guerra received advanced dental restorative training at the Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida.
Dr Guerra is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. A general dentist who is a “Fellow” in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) has been recognized as a leader and exemplifies to other dentists the importance of quality continuing dental education. To earn the FAGD, a dentist must complete a minimum of 500 continuing dental education credit hours and complete a rigorous exam process.
Dr. Guerra also has been honored as a Fellow of the American Dental Implant Association, which he earned after completing over 300 hours of continuing education in the area of Dental Implants.

In 2010, Dr. Guerra retired as a Major from the Louisiana Air National Guard after proudly serving for over 22 years.
When he is not at work, Greg Guerra most enjoys spending time with his wife, Regina, and two children, Morgan and Joel.
